Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Technical Writer:
- Collaborate with end users to define business procedures and create technical documentation for hardware and software.
- Plan, design, research, write, and edit a variety of documents, including user guides, manuals, technical specifications, and training materials.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials.
- Engage with multiple teams to understand specific products and provide necessary training
Required Skills for the Technical Writer:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical writing, with a preference for 4 years.
- Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proficiency in documenting IT software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with end users and cross-functional teams.
