IDR is seeking a Sr Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role involves leading complex projects within a dynamic industry, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, technical design, and process improvements. The position offers an excellent opportunity to manage impactful initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview for the Sr Project Manager:
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget
- Acquire resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project plans communicating tasks, milestones, and resources
- Manage project risks, scope, and deliverables while ensuring stakeholder communication
Requirements for the Sr Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent project management experience
- 5+ years’ experience managing small to large projects through the project lifecycle
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience with Microsoft Project developing complex plans
- 5+ years’ experience recognizing, measuring, and mitigating project risks
- Experience in facilitating cross-functional teams and managing project budgets
