IDR is seeking a Senior HR Operations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fountain Valley, California. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in leave of absence administration within a healthcare or radiology setting. The position offers a chance to oversee end-to-end leave processes and ensure compliance across federal and state regulations.
Position Overview for the Senior HR Operations Specialist:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for end-to-end leave of absence (LOA) administration, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and federal/state regulations.
- Manage all aspects of LOA case management, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA accommodations, Workers’ Compensation, and personal leaves.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR, Employee Health Services, and third-party administrators regarding LOA and Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims from initial filing through closure, including transitions between leave types.
- Lead the ADA interactive process, facilitating discussions with employees and managers for temporary or permanent work restrictions.
Requirements for the Senior HR Operations Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience administering LOA programs, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and consultative skills with the ability to support employees, managers, and HR partners effectively.
