IDR is seeking an SAP Data Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and architecture to support advanced analytics and business intelligence in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Position Overview for the SAP Data Engineer:
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP sources and other enterprise data sources
- Design, build, and maintain data architecture supporting analytics and BI initiatives
- Deep knowledge of SAP technologies including BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, BusinessObjects, and SAC
- Experience with Celonis data engineering and enterprise DataOps practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, security, and performance
Requirements for the SAP Data Engineer:
- 5 - 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP ECC/S4, BusinessObjects, SAC, and Celonis
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques such as ODP, SLT, ABAP, SQL, and CDS views
- Experience developing and customizing BI extraction processes using ABAP
- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, hybrid architecture, and SAP BPC
- Understanding of process excellence frameworks, Celonis EMS, DataOps, CI/CD practices, Snowflake, and Tableau
