IDR is seeking a Production Planner to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role involves coordinating demand planning activities within the entertainment and music industry, providing essential support to production and operational teams to ensure smooth workflow and forecasting accuracy.
Position Overview for the Production Planner:
- Manage demand planning activities to align with production schedules and business needs.
- Utilize statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and software tools to predict future demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and share insights on forecasting processes.
- Maintain and update demand planning software, including SAP/APO and other related tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize production efficiency.
Requirements for the Production Planner:
- Two to Three years of experience in demand planning
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- Knowledge of SAP/APO, other software related to demand planning is preferred
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.

$25-$30/hr
