IDR is seeking a Payroll Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boston, MA. This organization operates within the healthcare industry, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care while optimizing administrative functions. The Payroll Manager will oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all payroll activities, and lead a team of payroll professionals in a dynamic hospital environment.
Position Overview for the Payroll Manager:
- Manages the Payroll Services department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all payroll wages and deductions for employees.
- Ensures compliance with taxing authorities and hospital policies while responding to technical, system, and employee inquiries.
- Collaborates with cross-functional management teams to develop strategic payroll plans and implement system enhancements.
- Leads, develops, and mentors a team of payroll professionals, fostering continuous growth and performance.
- Participates in audits and ensures adherence to all federal, state, and hospital-specific payroll regulations.
Requirements for the Payroll Manager:
- Proven experience managing payroll operations within a healthcare or large organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll system upgrades, automation, and analytics.
- Effective leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
