IDR is seeking a Drupal Technical Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Texas. This role involves leading complex Drupal projects within a government or enterprise-scale digital environment, focusing on technical standards, custom module development, and platform integration to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Position Overview for the Drupal Technical Lead:
- Define technical standards, coding best practices, and development workflows for Drupal projects.
- Oversee module selection, custom module development, theming, and integration patterns.
- Lead and participate in hands-on Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10).
- Build and maintain custom modules, themes, APIs, and integrations.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize site performance, caching, and content delivery strategies using Acquia tools.
Requirements for the Drupal Technical Lead:
- Experience with RESTful APIs, integrations, and decoupled/Headless Drupal (8+ years).
- Extensive experience in website design (8+ years).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Acquia Pipelines, Jenkins (8+ years).
- Hands-on experience in Drupal development, including Drupal 8/9/10 (5+ years).
- Strong skills in PHP, Symfony, Composer, Drush, Git, and modern front-end technologies (4+ years).
