Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Benefits and Wellness Specialist (100% remote): Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to manage day-to-day benefits operations, including onboarding, billing, and employee inquiries. Support compliance with state and federal laws, including 5500 filings and 1095 reporting, while enhancing the benefits governance framework. Develop and deliver effective communication materials and strategies for benefits and wellness programs. Partner with Finance/Payroll to analyze and optimize budgeting for benefits needs. Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and understanding of benefits plans.
Required Skills for Benefits and Wellness Specialist (100% remote): Minimum of three years of experience in U.S. employee benefits and wellness plan development. Proven expertise in health, wellness, and retirement program administration. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all organizational levels. Experience in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with a commitment to confidentiality.
